Pringles Potato Chip Can Hot Dog cooker

Build a solar hot dog cooker.
MATERIALS :
1 Pringles Potato Chip Can
1 Piece of Transparency Film (8β x 4β)
1 Scissors or Exacto Knife
1 Hot Dog
1 Wooden Skewer (14β)Duct Tape
1 Aluminum Foil-About 12 Inches
PROCEDURE:
1. Radiant energy from the sun can be reflected and concentrated on an object. Much of the radiant energy absorbed by an object is converted into thermal energy (heat). Radiant energy can pass through clear materials much more easily than thermal energy.
2. Cut the Pringles can as shown below. Bend back the flaps but do not remove from the can. They will be used to reflect radiant energy onto the hot dog.
3. Cover the opening on the inside of the can with the transparency film and tape the film into place.
Gobal Sun Oven

There is also a spill-proof levelator, built-in thermometer and self-contained leveling leg that allows 9 different angled positions. The oven is insulated and weighs 21 pounds. It is shaped like a suitcase and has a handle for easy transport and has an estimated lifetime of about 20 years. The Global Sun Oven is 19" x 19" with a depth of 11".
Beer Bread

Beer Bread
3 cups self-rising flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 12-oz. can of beer, at room temperature
cheese slices
Mix first three ingredients together and place in buttered black pan with lid. Place cheese slices on top. Cover. Cook in solar oven for 2 or 3 hours
Solar Potatoes

This recipe is based on potatoes weighing 1 lb. each big bakers. For smaller individual potatoes approximately ΒΌ lb. each, the cooking will be faster.
- 2 lbs. baking potatoes per cooking pot, 4 lbs total
- 4 tbs. minced flat parsley
- 4 tbs. minced fresh chives
- fresh ground pepper and salt to taste
- butter or olive oil to taste
1. Wash and dry the potatoes. Prick each potato a few times.
2. Place half of the potatoes in each cooking pot. Do not add liquid.
